There's "woke" and then there's racist, homophobic, and a sexual predator. Those were never acceptable at any point in time, not 50 years ago, not 30 years ago, and certainly not now.

Also, neither are cancelled. Both they and their estates continue to earn money. I hardly count a Medium article as cancelled, do you? :-)
